What a powerful influence on hockey in the Cleveland area! A good friend with a great sense of humor; I'll miss you, Mike, and will never forget the good times we had at the Brooklyn rink.

Mike will forever be part of the Lumberjacks Family - staff, players and fans all loved him for his kindness, selflessness and friendship. The Voice remains strong in our hearts and in our memories.

I'm so sorry to see and hear of Mike's passing. I had the privilege of working with Mike when he was part of WOBL and WDLW Sports. He's one of the nicest people I've ever known. For many years after we worked together he would call just to see how things were going. Mike made the world a better place and we'll miss him.

I can still see Mike standing in sister Denise's first grade classroom, on the first day of school at STM, tears running down his very red face matching his very red hair! Then on to be the voice of Brooklyn football, when my boys played, what a thrill it was for all of us!
It has been an honor to have known you all these years, dear friend! You will truly be missed, but always remembered!
Go now, with the Father, for He has other work for you in His kingdom!
Love and prayers,
Marcia(Pukys) Balina and family

The Cleveland hockey world has lost a great one! Mike was the voice of High School Hockey at the Brooklyn Recreation Center for years. His voice was a classic that any hockey fan would recognize in an instant. When I first started coaching in the 80's Mike adopted the Padua program as his own. Any player from the 88 and 89 State Championship teams would tell you much of a part of our program Mike became. Of course Brooklyn was always his first love. He was instrumental in making Brooklyn Youth a group to reckoned with. Most importantly, Mike was always there for his family. Anyone who got to know Mike Hadl is a better person because of it. Rest In Peace Mike!!!
